Book Reading with Sophia Rucker-Taylor

Join A Likely Story as they host, local author, Sophia Rucker-Taylor, as she reads from her book Biblical Women Walking In Purpose. This story reflects on the women in the Bible and how we can relate to them today. We will have snacks and drinks, Sophia will read from her story, and the audience will have a chance to ask questions followed by a book signing.

Sophia Lynn Rucker-Taylor was born and raised in Kentucky the Thoroughbred and Bourbon state. She is the oldest of four siblings, mother of one daughter and 2 beautiful grandchildren. She was raised by her Mother, Grandmother, and a very special Uncle. They taught her to put God first and the rest will follow.  She is a graduate of Kentucky State University and Midway University, adjunct professor at Midway University, and published author. Her favorite Bible Verse: Is Philippines 4:13 I can do all things through Christ that strengthens me.

Sophia’s hobbies include reading, cooking, fashion, gardening, and spending time with family and friends.
