About the event
Join A Likely Story as they celebrate Kentucky author and 2023 Henry Clay Public Service Award winner, Sarah Hall, as she reads from her book Sown in the Stars. She explores the knowledge of Kentucky farmers and how some continue to use the moon and stars to guide their crops and farm work. Sarah will read from her book before the audience has a chance to ask questions followed by a book signing.

Sarah L. Hall is associate professor of agriculture and natural resources at Berea College. Her scholarly articles on the restoration of native forests and grasslands in Kentucky have been published in a wide range of journals, including Restoration Ecology and New Forests.
